The movies will feature the historic Meyer Theater Wurlitzer
Pipe Organ providing all of the music and sound effects necessary to making this silent film classic a true experience,
taking the viewer back in time to the 1920's.
Frank Rippl has been Organist/Choirmaster at all Saints’
Episcopal Church in Appleton since 1971. He is a co-founder of the Appleton Boychoir, and now serves as the Boychoir’s
Director Emeritus and organist for it’s annual Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols, and is founder and coordinator of
the summer Lunchtime Organ Recital Series. Mr Rippl has been performing silent films for The Packerland Theatre Organ Society
for the past five years.
The Packerland Theatre Organ Society is a non profit 501(c)
3 educational organization dedicated to the preservation and presentation of the Voice of the Silent Movie ( The Theatre Organ)
and is a chapter of the American Theatre Organ Society. The Packerland Theatre Organ Society is presenting this film as part
of its 2010 silent film series.

On May 18th 2010, Tuesday at 7pm The Packerland Theatre Organ
Society will present “The Buster Keaton Film Festival ”, at the fully restored movie palace, the Meyer Theater in downtown Green Bay, WI, with its historical Wurlitzer Theater Pipe Organ.. Buster Keaton is well known for his crazy
and funny stunts. Frank Rippl and Tom McNeely will be doing live musical accompaniment on the Wurlitzer to these rarely seen
silent films. Join us for a Hollywood style movie premier night with a red carpet and lots of photographers and starlets to
